According to a report by the Profession report by Project Management Institute (PMI), around 44 percent of Indian organisations have found their foot in a hybrid work model, while 10 percent are working remotely. The report also mentions that India Inc bringing employees back into the office are unlikely, because it could be counterproductive in terms of significant improvement in project performance, considering the negative impact the move can have on employee morale and retention.
However, a perment hybrid scenario adds another challenge to the plate of Chief Operating Officers in the country.
