From Sundar Pichai to Satya Nadella, and Shantanu Narayen, the demand for Indian technology leaders has always been ever-flaring. The biggest of organizations worldwide are increasingly in pursuit of top Indian tech leaders to fill their leadership seats. Google recently named Prabhakar Raghavan as its new Chief Technologist, replacing Nick Fox. Raghavan has a distinguished background and over 20 years of research spanning algorithms, web search and databases, published over 100 papers in various fields, and holds 20 issued patents, including several on link analysis for web search.
However, it’s high time the country found a way to keep technology talent in the country and inspired them to thrive in India across the global markets. Over the past nine years, India has taken the lead in creating technologies instead of being a mute spectator and consumer of technology. The country should find ways to use this favorable ecosystem to make technology leaders thrive in it, creating a win-win situation.

Remember, India-problems always require India -solutions. However, India has no plan to take its foot off the gas. The government has already devised meticulous plans to make the country a manufacturing hub. For instance, the Indian Semiconductor Industry market size is expected to reach $ 271.9 billion by 2032, growing a CAGR of 25.7 percent, according to reports. The tech leaders in the country need to make sure that they are at the business end of things - right at the bleeding edge. We dedicate this issue to the CTOs in the country who lead the technology revolution. Do let us know your thoughts.
