This tech-ade is a decade of collaboration. With technology bringing the world to our fingertips, academia has a great opportunity to host a paradigm shift via industry collaborations. Visvesvarya National Institute of Technology (VNIT), Nagpur, is setting an excellent example regarding this. VNIT has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Yantra India Limited (YIL) to enhance industry-academia collaboration and provide internship opportunities for students.

The partnership with YIL aims to provide pre-final and final year (BTech and MTech students) with valuable industry exposure, skill development opportunities, and hands-on
experience through internships. This collaboration will go a long way in terms of bridging the skill gap. This MoU also represents a pivotal milestone in strengthening technical education and promoting progress in research and innovation within engineering and technology.

Through this collaboration, VNIT and YIL will hold discussions to identify additional avenues for partnership, focusing on resolving technical and engineering challenges via student internships and research initiatives. This alliance aims to enhance students' hands-on expertise and prepare them for the industry, creating a symbiotic relationship between academic institutions and the public sector. The MoU was exchanged in the presence of Prof Prem Lal Patel, director of VNIT Nagpur, and Seema Gupta, GM (HR), YIL. While we wish VNIT and YIL all the best for their future endeavors, this yearly special issue of CEO Insights sheds light on the past of the institute, featuring a few of its prestigious alumni.
