Tell us about your professional journey so far.
My journey so far has been very interesting because every day has been a learning experience for me by way of interaction with industry colleagues from overseas and in India. I am very thankful to this industry for showing me the business world across the globe and for providing me with this opportunity of traveling for business, conferences, and leisure and promoting/ representing India as an Ambassador.
Also, I have been fortunate enough to see transformations from bulk shipping to containerized shipping,
reduction of Red Tapism and opening up skies for Freighters which I am sure will continue for a very longtime.
What were the challenges you had to overcome in order to achieve this level, & what is your success mantra?
Challenges are part and parcel of day-to-day life when you are in the business of logistics which is a fast and dynamically changing marketplace. However my success mantra is to keep doing my work and look out for positive things especially under difficult situations.
What were the challenges at Jeena and Company that taught you some crucial lessons? Also, tell us about your personal achievements at Jeena.
The biggest challenge I faced as an owner is to remain compliant in all aspects of the business and this has been my greatest personal achievement also. Also, COVID-19 has been very challenging with a lot of disruption in services and supplies caused due to disruptive transportation during the lockdown. But Jeena & Company sailed through it very strongly and provided all kinds of logistical support to its customers. Jeena has been one of the fastest digital adopters in the logistics sector and has implemented various tech-driven innovations during the pandemic to make its services as touch-free as possible.
For Jeena & Company, our greatest achievement so far has been supporting our government and citizens through the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) during testing times of the pandemic.
