Akhand Swaroop Pandit is the brains behind Growfitz Kiwi Foods and with him at the helm, the company has been able to break new business frontiers and strive for greater heights in the Indian FMCG market.

In an exclusive interview with CEO Insights, Akhand talks more about his professional journey and the unique business operations of Growfitz Kiwi Foods.

Take us through your educational and professional background? Also, what motivates you today?
I am an Ex IES-officer, a National Level Power lifter & a Fitness Enthusiast. I always believe that,to achieve anything in life, we first have to take care of our health but people today are forgetting these things. Today, even young people are suffering from diseases like diabetes, blood pressure, fatty liver, and vitamin deficiency to name a few. To solve such things, we esta
blished a completely natural food supplements company Growfitz under Kiwi Foods. Currently we are having over 1 lakh regular customers for Natural Peanut butter, Protein bars, and Hearty Oats among many others. Our commitment to quality and customer-centricity is one of the primary factors that drives me even today.

Define Growfitz Kiwi Foods as an organization and its current position in the industry?
Growfitz Kiwi Foods was established with a primary objective to offer high quality food items to the customers at affordable prices. Since our inception, this has been our goal and this pursuit for excellence is what helped us to scale impressive heights in the market.

Even though, we started out from scratch, owing to our passion and dedication, as of now, we manufacture products ranging from confectionary to chocolates to cream wafers to snacks and potato chips. We manufacture it all and offers some of the most prominent brands of the country under these food categories. Other than that, we are an internationally certified Natural food Brand providing complete solution for a fit life. We are currently leading the industry with over 1 lakh regular monthly customers as well.

Could you tell us about the unique products that are provided by Growfitz Kiwi Foods that makes it stand out from the rest in the market?
We have a diverse product portfolio which provides a complete solution for a Fit body and Fit Mind. For example, our Growfitz Peanut butter is a blend with added B-12, D3, A, E, C and other essential vitamins which support healthy heart functioning as well as improve people’s memory. Some of our premium products also include
Peanut butter, Natural Whey, Omega 3, Multivitamins for Men & Women, Hair Grow Formula, and so on.

What has been your success mantra that constantly helps you arrive at positive outcomes?
Our success is completely based on our product quality and its base which is connected to natural solutions. We take the support of nature to help people who are harming themselves by going away from nature. This is where our foundation is built and even though, we have achieved commercial success in the industry, we have never strayed away from this path.

In your professional journey so far, which are the milestones that have bestowed you with utmost satisfaction- both personally and professionally?
We started this brand with a purpose to provide a cost-effective healthy food supplement solution which can be affordable for everybody. Within a few months of launch we crossed the first milestone of 1 lakh regular monthly customers for growfitz products. Even our marketing expenditure is zero as our products are being sold based on organic reach and word of mouth publicity. Other than that, I find myself satisfied when people provide us positive feedback and say that our products have helped them cure their health issues.

Based on your strong professional experience, what advice would you give to the upcoming entrepreneurs in the same industry?
I have only one advice which I have gained from my experience - Focus on providing a Quality Experience to your new customer so that they will become your regular customer. This will help you to build a loyal customer base and that is crucial if you want to have sustained success in the industry.
