Tell us about your professional journey so far in the architecture industry. Also, define the inspiration behind opting for this career.
I have completed my bachelor's and master’s degree in architecture. Therefore, by profession,I am an architect, designing spaces and experimenting with shapes, colors, and aesthetics is a keen interest. I have experience in developing homes, hospitals, and buildings in an interior, retail domain, and warehouse/industrial domain as well as working as an architect onsite. So, my professional background is a mix of things where I place myself as a designer with the ability to develop functional programs for the Project. Interior designing as a profession at present has a huge potential in the market, especially for middle-class people in India. There is a need or hunger of being led into this space where quality is being given importance. So, this is some thing that inspires me a lot to work as an interior designer for the retail, residential, and commercial sector.
Define ADCON’s position in the market at presentand what are unique propositions the company offers?
I have two startups of which one is Adcon Associates and another one is My Unique Kitchen. Adcon Associates is a startup found during the lockdown. While establishing this, I have involved all my experi
ences with this particular startup. Adcon is an acronym which we define as 'Advitiya Design Configuration'. It is a multi disciplinary organization, which is working under the domain of interior design, architectural consultancy, and project management services for the different types of projects like retail, industrial factories, residential commercial, and the housing sector. They go on logging into your house. Here, we solve all the problems in the infrastructure domain on various scales starting from a residential interior to a factory or a warehouse or a retail store. Also,Adcon stands as the one-stop solution for various retail brands meeting all the requirements of the retail industry providing solutions from audit to interior to turnkey solutions.
We at Adcon believe and focus on providing the best client experiences, and our strength lies within the core values of giving importance to all our team members, who work day & night to meet our clients’ needs. Currently, the company is present in PAN india with more than 30+ team members. The second startup is a pre-launch on which we are still working. My Unique Kitchen will be a one stop solution for all modular kitchen requirements for budgeted homes and apartments, for a small & medium class Indian economy. The company is currently positioned to deliver the best and most efficient kitchen setup at a budgeted price. And, it will also be educating people on what exactly efficient kitchen design and material quality should be, where they spend most of their time. However, the idea and the vision of this company is to become an e-Commerce platform where people can simply order their kitchen like they do with Amazon & Flipkart.
Could you please define the major challenges that you have faced? Also, how have you overcome those challenges and what have you learned from those?
I started working at the age of eighteen, and my 10 years of my experience involve my education & my startup failures. I worked both as a self-employed interior designer and at a Site consultant in a firm. I started a real estate firm and an infrastructure domain firm also, and faced failures with huge losses. All these failures have taught me a lot of professional skills. I have accumulated extensive knowledge about how skills and technology should be aligned to build a company. I have written and pointed out the small to big factors relating to the failures of my startups and

What is the motivation behind your day-to-day work life and what is your success mantra?
I used to have a very busy professional life. But now for a couple of months, I have managed to give equal space to my personal and professional life. Now I maintain distance during the off hours(tough being an Entrepreneur), and here, my wife plays a very important role by making a calendar during the week¬ends. However, I am still working to improve and balance this area. My Inspiration comes from leaders like Ambani's and Tata's. 'I believe in volumes' rather than seeking short term benefits, I believe in recurring benefits or longterm benefits. So, whatever I do, I always think about the volume & scalability that I am working on. I always try to build something which can go through the generations. Therefore, whatever I am doing, it should be presented with visions and meet future requirements.
Going forward what are the goals that you wish to invest in and how do you plan to take them forward?
My goal is to make a group of companies that support each other and work for the middle-class Indian economy. Also, slowly & gradually I am working with more startups and making them self sufficient so that they benefit the industry and the community.
