One such leader is Anoop Errabelli, who, through his innovative initiatives, has made international programs like the IB and Cambridge accessible to those in need. By ensuring that children can receive a world-class education without uprooting their lives to move to distant cities, Anoop not only transforms individual lives but also fosters a vibrant institution that stimulates the local economy. Under his guidance, Skill Stork International School has emerged as a leader in the region, ranking fourth in the state and poised for national recognition as it features on Disney+ Hotstar's The Future Schools.
Can you share your professional journey and key growth factors?
My foundation was set in a traditional missionary school and followed by engineering studies at VIT University in Vellore. Watching my parents build the SVS Group of Institutions from a small tutorial in 1986 to a thriving institution with over 10,000 students and 1,000 staff has been a constant source of inspiration.
After completing my engineering degree, I worked with my father to manage our education institution while preparing for my MBA. In 2014, I enrolled in the Indian School of Business, where exposure to global perspectives and peers from top schools inspired me. I saw the value of holistic education systems like IB and Cambridge and wanted to bring this approach locally, focusing on early critical thinking.
Starting with a preschool pilot project in Hyderabad, the positive response motivated me to establish an international school in Warangal, meeting a community need for high quality education. Today, our school enriches the community, supports the local economy, and offers families quality education close to home.
What drives you as a leader, and what motivates your daily routine?
As a leader in education, I find my field incredibly rewarding. Unlike a hospital setting, which often deals with sickness and recovery, schools are filled with happy children and joyful faces,
which deeply motivate me. I don't need to engage in separate social service activities. By doing my job well, I contribute to the happiness of children and their parents. I take pride in how our school boosts Warangal’s growth, serving as a local asset that attracts new companies. I'm also creating employment opportunities for about 258 staff members from 19 different states, which further motivates me. Remembering my own childhood experience of not having a balanced education, I strive to provide holistic, experiential learning in Warangal.
What modern approach do you bring to learning? How does your organization leverage technology to enhance education?
As an educational leader with nearly a decade of experience, I emphasize a holistic, modern approach to learning that balances a strong international academic program, advanced facilities, and skilled educators. Our infrastructure includes state-of-the-art labs and technology that enrich the learning experience.
We utilize an experiential model that encompasses academics, sports, and arts, fostering critical skills such as research, communication, and reflective thinking, along with values-based education. Our teaching methods are tailored to different age groups, which includes play based learning for pre-primary, inquiry based approaches for primary, and career counseling for secondary students to align their studies with personal interests.
Technology plays a vital role in this framework. For instance, AI reduces the clerical workload for teachers in pre-primary settings, enabling more personalized, observation-based assessments that highlight each child's strengths. In secondary education, we leverage adaptive computer based testing to adjust question difficulty based on student performance, helping identify areas that need improvement. Our career counseling platform offers students personalized university recommendations based on their individual priorities. Engaging tools like interactive panels, AR/VR, and advanced lab equipment make learning more immersive, enriching the educational journey for every student.
What factors do you consider regarding children's participation in extra -curricular activities?
At Skill Stork International School, 'Skill Stork' symbolizes the rebirth of diverse skills, reflecting our commitment to nurturing and developing a wide range of abilities in our students. We organize our calendar around specific themes each month, such as literacy, math, science, and sports weeks. This structured approach encourages

The satisfaction of building a respected educational institution is far greater than any financial gain, because it's about making a meaningful impact on children's lives

active participation, and I'm proud to say that 100 percent our students engage in school events.
How do you describe your leadership approach and the methodologies you follow?
I define my leadership style as flair leadership, emphasizing creativity and innovation. I adopt a horizontal approach rather than a traditional vertical model, prioritizing the well-being of my team. I provide clear employment contracts, job security, and recognize top performers. For those facing challenges, we implement Performance Acceleration Program that focuses on specific areas for growth. Understanding my team's needs is essential, and this supportive environment has helped us maintain a retention rate of 90-95 percent since our establishment.
What challenges have you faced, and how did you overcome them?
Since inception, my journey with the school has been a rollercoaster. We launched in 2020 with big dreams and significant investments, hiring a full team and planning an inauguration with then-Vice President Venkaiah Naidu. Just two days before the opening, COVID-19 struck, bringing everything to a stand still. While many would have paused, we chose to confront the challenges head-on.
Starting with only 25 students, we shifted to online classes, pouring our hearts into each lesson. Parents saw our commitment firsthand, leading to an enrollment of 1,400 students in just two years.
Transitioning back to offline classes brought its own hurdles, but we embraced flexibility, adapting our curriculum and nurturing resilience in every child. Throughout this journey, consistency, discipline, and perseverance fueled us, helping us overcome obstacles.
What excites you for the next chapter of your journey?
We have established a strong presence within a 40-kilometer radius, excelling in academic program delivery, teacher retention, and infrastructure, ranking nearly number one in Telangana. Over the next five years, I aim to stabilize our systems for greater consistency and efficiency. Expanding our residential facilities and attracting students from across India, and potentially inter-nationally, is a dream I hope to realize.
