Bhairaw Kumar is the founder of the company and leveraging his immense industry expertise and experience, he has been able to break new business frontiers with Enerture Technologies. With him at the helm, Enerture Technologies is aiming to strive for sustained success and develop into a visionary in the Indian renewable energy and electric vehicle segment.

In an exclusive interview with CEO INSIGHTS, Bhairaw talks more about his professional journey and the unique business operations of Enerture Technologies.

Can you talk more about your edu cational and professional background?
I am an electrical engineering graduate from National Institute of Technology Jamshedpur. Through

campus recruitment I got selected for Tata Projects and I worked with the company for six years. I was part of various power projects during my tenure with Tata. It is during that time I developed my business development skills to become a business leader. Keeping this in mind, I did my MBA in finance and marketing. During my MBA itself, I had registered my company Enerture Techno logies Private Limited. Our vision was to get into the renewable energy as well as upcoming technology sector to reduce the carbon emissions and protect our environment. We started in the solar industry and initially, we concent rated on projects in rural areas where there was no way of accessing conventional methods of electricity. During that time, we got recognized by the Government of India, Azim Premji Foundation and various other forums both Indian and international including IIM Calcutta, IIM Ahmedabad. California University has awarded us for the quality and innovation of our offerings. Since 2016 till now, we have done over 750 MW of solar power projects and we have realized that the time has now come to get into the electric vehicle segment.

Our experience and technical know-how have helped us to realize that we can excel in this stratum and we have also partnered with Sun Mobility and IOCL in 2019. We have developed the charging station infrastructure for electric vehicles in various states across the country. We are also working with companies like Delta and Tata EV Power, in order to scale up our operations. We will be aggregating the entire charging and swapping stations across India with one single app called EV-Care. This app that we have launched will be a game changer for the electric vehicle industry in India. We are aiming to roll this app across India and attract more individuals to electric vehicles.

How have you been able to grow from strength to strength in the industry?

Our team is experts in everything related to the solar industry and this always helps us to stay on the top of our game. This combined with our passion to improve ourselves consistently, helped us to remain one of the best names in the industry. India is the largest consumer for the automotive sector and we see immense potential in the EV segment in India as well. Through our operations, we want to make the EV market a very popular segment in the country and we want to make people aware that the cost of transportation using EV is very low when compared to other conventional methods of transportation. We also believe that by 2025, 55 to 60 percent of Indian will move to the electric vehicle segment.

How has the pandemic affected your business?
We faced the adverse impact caused the pandemic but keeping our vision in mind; we maintained our manpower and continued with our operations. We believe that, now market has opened up and India has huge potential in the renewable energy sector.

How do you keep yourself updated with the latest trends in the industry?
I connect with people who work in and around me within the organization on a regular basis and I have also built a network of pioneering professionals working in the industry and this helps us to stay current in the industry. The connections that we have, helps us to know about the upcoming trends in the industry. This coupled with social media and conven tional news medium helps me to stay Up To Date in the industry.
