Furthermore, I'm proud to be a Saudi Aramco-approved Health, Safety, and Environment Officer, and I hold a Saudi Aramco-approved Work Permit Card. I'm also a Saudi Aramco Certified Scaffold Inspector and supervisor.
Tell us about your leadership approach and what has been your success mantra so far.
Leadership is all about collaboration and inspiring others to do their best work. I aim to be direct and collaborate with my team members by delegating tasks, leading by example, and making sure they know I care.
As leaders, we have the responsibility of leading everyone equally, never forgetting that no one is more important than the team, not even the leader.
How do you ensure that quality, environment, and health and safety are maintained at each level in the system design and implementation?
This is possible only when we engage all levels of employees in the EHS Journey through the Sub Committee Concept which is led by one of the senior people of the manufacturing facility starting from the concept design to the manufacturing facilities. The rolled-out Standards/ Guidelines by the Sub Committee (like Standard & Procedure, Safety Observation, Training and Capability, Incident investigation, and Contractor safety management) for the implementation with the support of employees at different level gives the confidence of a safe workplace and is supported by measuring performance and ensuring continuous improvement by setting, auditing and reviewing safety and health objectives and targets.
