Having Nurtured in an ever encouraging environment, Divij Bajaj, CEO of Power Gummies, has always felt motivated by a famous quote told by his father, "Great things may come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who hustle." Owing to his mindset of never relying on destiny but to struggle and create opportunities, Divij not only achieved success in his previous stints with the Education and Entertainment industry, but also established Power Gummies in 2018 a pill alternative company that caters and enables access to nutrition and health resorts for everyone, coexisting with convenience through the over the counter products. To derive a solution for his mother who hated all the necessary vitamin supplements believing every tablet to be a medicine,Divij introspected and researched the interconnected societal problems and concluded that rigid lifestyle has tied the world into goals driven jargons leading to missed nutrition. From physical workouts to intake of nutrition, and the surrounding environment, all play an intrinsic role to make a person feel fit inside out. Divij wanted to make a difference and reform the nutritional habits of people by enabling them to become healthier versions of themselves by incorporating nutrition easily in their fast paced life.

Below is an excerpt of Divij's interview with CEOInsights.

How would you define the position of Power Gummies in the market? Tell us about its USP as well.
We pioneered introducing rabbit shaped chewable vitamin gummies to simplify the nutrition game. Our gummies are scientifically backed, vegan based with negligible or 0gm of added sugar, gelatinb free, glutenfree, and consist of no additional or synthetic additives yet clinically proven, tasty, and effective. We want everyone to have access to
nutrition that brings happiness in the long term and that's our USP. My brand exists for millennials with a fastpaced life who seek vegan, effective, innovative convenient formats for nutrition. Simply, Power Gummies is a nutrition brand that creates tasty, irresistible nutritional vitamin gummies, unlike other boring or bad tasting supplement formats that bring happiness every day and tempt everyone making it hard to resist.

What are the major obstacles you have experienced so far and what did you learn from tackling them?
One of the major challenges was to pave the way to creating the imagination to reality with a team of health and food experts. There also came a time when I had no option but to single handedly manage the existence of Power Gummies to kick start by stepping into every role from procurement to the distribution of samples for the pilot trials and researching for gummy compositions with third party labs, agencies and experts. As far as running the business, the foremost initial challenge was to break the stigma that tasty gummies cannot suffice or bring in nutritional value as we always had bitter or bland alternatives taking care of our medical or health related issues. Creating that customer awareness took over a long period and we are creating the buzz for it via social media, the most engaging platform to reach our target audience. Today, power gummies are an industry innovation for nutraceuticals and a healthy treat to a huge customer base.

Till now, which milestones have bestowed you with utmost satisfaction and why?
Some milestones moments which made me revise these lessons of mine were when we roped in Shraddha Kapoor as our Brand Ambassador and the face of gorgeous hair and nail vitamins. In April 2021 and therein we moved ahead our bit to getting oxygen cylinders to local healthcare bodies and hospitals.

That one moment was of utmost
satisfaction as an individual and entrepreneur. We have raised three consecutive funding rounds in 2020 from DSG Consumer Partners, Venture Catalyst, and Alfa ventures, observed a surge of six fold growth in sales, reached the mile stone of 20 percent month on month growth, superb retention rate, increased website traction from 2000 daily users to 5000 users. Another one would be when we recently launched Period Pain Gummies in May 2021 for Menstruating Women. All these milestones inevitably bring the satis faction of pursuing my vision and intrinsic motivation.

People have developed a psyche of treating nutritional supplements as an everyday essential and part of a self care regime, which was the need of an hour. Drawing a roadmap for our upcoming 40 variants which are in composition fixation stages

and continued clinical trials, we've curated a stagewise plannutraceutical market in the next six years internationally across South Asian countries as well. Divided the phases into Millennial Centric Problem Solutions and Generic Market Penetration to provide the best gummy innovations ensuring product efficacy for skin, sleep, calcium, multi vitamin for him and her.
