How do you conduct your research and make judgments about healthcare utilizing latest technologies? Also, what are the cutting-edge technologies that you use for your research and treatment?
Digital technologies of all kinds have become essential resources in the healthcare sector and their uptake is growing. The best part of digital health information technology is that it empowers not just patients, but also doctors with valuable information. The information is shared easily either with the patient or between the doctors. Basically, sharing of information improves clinical decision making. The other thing is the patients who are at far flung areas they can be in touch with their families as well as their specialist. So, it improves follow up management of those patients.
In our hospital, we have state-of-art kidney transplant treatment. Transplant is an ideal treatment option for eligible people with end stage kidney disease (ESRD) to
replace kidney function. We also have Hemodialysis, a medical treatment that uses a machine with a special filter to take waste and extra water out of the blood.
In our critical care nephrology setup, we perform continuous & prolonged renal replacement therapy and Peritoneal Dialysis to patients.
We have all kind of modalities required for early intervention. We do renal biopsy, a medical procedure of examining the kidney tissue to diagnose & treat kidney problems. Our hospital is also equipped to perform plasmapheresis, the removal, treatment & return or exchange of blood plasma or components thereof from & to the blood circulation. We can even evaluate kidney problems in children who have some common or even uncommon problems.
According to you, what are the current challenges people are facing when it comes to making the right lifestyle choices? And what would you suggest to those people to make the right choice?
In my opinion, why people are not able to make right lifestyle choices is due to busy work schedule, ignorance of their health needs and misinformation. COVID-19 pandemic has also changed the lifestyle. Obesity, Diabetes, Hypertension, Kidney disease are hidden if not screened early and they are playing a major role in deterioration of people’s health. These illnesses don’t tell your mind but keep on deteriorating your health internally.
One of the major reasons for sedentary lifestyle and the rapid rise in these diseases is because of false claims about a cure for diseases across the market. Health fraud scams refer to products that claim to prevent, treat, or cure diseases or other health conditions, but are not proven safe and effective for those uses. Health fraud scams waste money and can lead to delays in getting proper diagnosis and treatment. They can also cause serious or even fatal injuries. Always remember healthy lifestyle can prevent diseases and prevention is better than cure. At last, we are all mortals.

What advice would you provide to folks who want to get healthier and avoid healthcare fraud?
We have to change a few things: Policies which can restrict availability of these claims have to be stringent. We have to make people more informed in order to overcome healthcare fraud. Informed people will choose the right things for them selves. Always Research the product you are using. Look up the name of the procedure or product online with "review," "complaint," or "scam." Ask your doctor or other healthcare practitioners about a treatment if you have questions about it. Be skeptical about guarantees or promises in treatment and check with your doctor or health care provider.
In order to improve your health, you have to incorporate physical activities and strategies into your day like brisk walking or running. When these simple steps become habits, they can add up to a big positive effect on your overall health. It’s your health and the day you will give it importance, you will have time for it. But don't let that stress you out. As with exercise, relaxation and good sleep are beneficial.
How do you keep up with developments and news in the healthcare sector?
So, we attend conferences, both national and international. It's a component of continuing medical education and we get all the information to keep our program updated with the latest knowledge and technologies.
