What did you learn from Harvard University beyond academics?

I had a life-changing academic experience at Harvard University, especially through the Harvard Business School's Senior Executive Leadership Program. The program required me to balance my growing advisory business with 200 case studies over a year. My analytical and strategic skills were sharpened not only by this demanding academic activity but interacting with my peers was the most enriching experience.

Due to our varied career experiences, we added something special to the discussion. This diversity extended my perspective beyond academic theories and specific case studies but rather it helped me better comprehend the dynamics of global business.

What was the inspiration behind the foundation of Realdom and how have you been driving its growth in a strategic direction?

Not with standing the industry's historical importance, I observed that it lacked innovation. Our
goal is to transform the industry through Realdom which is the first real estate and infrastructure exchange in history. We provide easy-to-use options for real estate investment and focus on incor-porating cutting-edge technology to democratize real estate investment.

You are also the Founder Director of Pinvest. Tell us more about the firm.

Currently, private real estate market valuation is 33x of public market for the asset class, so real estate market liquidity is inversely correlated with other public markets, viz. Equity, Debt, Bullion. Our goal is to reverse this tendency by listing global assets and establishing a liquid, 24x7 easily accessible market.

My mission as the Founder of Pinvest is to encourage the real estate industry to be more inclusive, transparent, accessible, and liquid. Our objective is to make real estate investment opportunities accessible to even the smallest investors apart from offering promoters and governments a secure and effective means of raising capital. We use robust Blockchain technology with intelligence of AI to make transactions transparent, while also ensuring security and trust.

Under your leadership, how do you lend your knowledge to guide the team to make innovative strides in the real estate industry?

I have been fascinated with architecture since I was in school. However, I understood that to execute architectural designs diligently one must pursue engineering. This realization led me to become an engineer. I am a strong advocate of continuous learning and keeping with this perspective, I pursued an MBA in finance and real estate with a post graduate Diploma from the Schulich School of Business, York University and further spent my extensive travelling time to reading course material of CFA and CS(Company Secretary) for under-standing corporate governance, while undertaking Canadian Securities Certification (CSC) courses. Eventually, I pursued Senior Executive Leadership program equivalent to an Executive MBA from Harvard Business School.

I use my holistic expertise and experience to guide my team to develop innovative solutions for the real estate sector. I support my team's innovative thinking and adoption of new technology by cultivating a culture of lifelong
learning.

How do you attract the right market leaders for par-tnerships and what prin-ciples do you ensure the team follows for each pro-ject?

My main goal is to show how technology can transform the real estate industry and make it more streamlined and accessible. Proptech - Property Technology and ConTech - Construction Technology can revolu-tionize real estate just like FinTech and MedTech. We highlight the distinctive value proposition of our platform, which makes real estate investing more accessible by enabling small investors to participate in large projects. This strategy promotes inclusive growth and offers much-needed liquidity. We facilitate projects that benefit not just India but the entire global community by bringing together a diversified collection of investors.

I make sure my team follows the values of transparency, innovation, and collaboration proactively on every project. Our dedication to using technology for social good helps us to develop long term partnerships and generate revenue for all stakeholders.

Dr Tushar Deochakke has a B.E in Civil Engineering from Birla Vishvakarma Mahavidyalaya and AMIE certification from the Institution of Engineers of India. He further studied at NICMAR University specializing in Construction Project Manage-ment as his Post Graduate specialization. He expanded his knowledge with Real Estate and Finance at the Schulich School of Business and executive education at Harvard Business School. His career spans Balmer Lawrie – PSU Company under MoPNG, Government of India, Altus Group - Largest Real Estate Consulting organization with services in 90 countries focusing on Costing, Valuation and Taxation, Smart REIT – Largest Shopping Centre REIT in Canada, Alden Global – New York based Hedge Fund, REALDAQ – A Real Estate Transaction Advisory Firm to being Founder of Pinvest in USA and Singapore and Realdom India.
