Geeta Lachireddy,Co-Founder“I have always wanted to live above my means because it inspired me to work harder” ~ said Robert Kiyosaki. Precisely living every word Robert said is GeetaLachireddy (Co-Founder, AscentHR). Inspired by her father for the commitment, dedication and hard work through which he built a promising business ensuring employee satisfaction for more than 30 years, made Geeta take her leap as an entrepreneur. “While I was doing my schooling, I visited Tata’s steel plant to witness a whole city built for Tata employees. I wondered how much an entrepreneur is capable of giving back to the society,” Geeta reminisces. In turn, while incepting her organization – AscentHR at the age of 26, Geeta believed in giving back to the society by creating opportunities. Shift to the present, being one of the best Indian MNC’s providing HR Automation & Outsourcing services, AscentHR comprises of a 500+ strong workforce (while the ‘AscentHRGroup’ comprises of around 3000 staffs) that encrust across 27 countries (including 40 locations within India).

Fulfilling the Commitments
“It is a proud moment for being able to create job opportunities to candidates from tier-2 and tier-3 cities.Providing best in class training to mold them into thought leaders of tomorrow” avers Geeta. As a
professional who intends to produce a genuine revamp in the outsourcing industry, Geeta never compromises on the quality of solutions delivered by AscentHR, and she perceives it as a matter of establishing a trustable & quality Indian brand. Thus, while many other organizations cater to clients with vanilla solutions and never take the predominant challenges out of an HR department, Geeta on-boards a partnership approach with them, empowering client with HR consulting, automation and back office management, ensuring client focus on strategic HR management.

Geeta was extremely cautious in working on her weaknesses, and thus, within the first few years, she transformed her weaknesses into her biggest strengths

En Route to Success
Started her voyage as an HR Consultant from a single chair & table in 2002 when the picture was completely different from the present day, with a narrow spectrum of women entrepreneurs to get inspired from, Geeta took inspiration from every walk of life, instead of resorting to benefits bestowed from agencies. She believed in going the extra mile and soar greater heights. Focus was in creating an organization known for quality deliverables and it indeed paid off with AscentHR creating a strong foothold pan India with its presence in more than 40 locations. The vision of delivering world class HR outsourced services backed by a strong leader like Geeta made AscentHR a success story in the Indian HR
Outsourcing industry.

Nothing,‘worth having’ comes easy; for Geeta, it was no different.During the first year of her journey as an entrepreneur, she had to fall back on her savings in order to focus on steadying the ship, while other peers enjoyed much lucrative careers. Geeta, an industry recognized, Chartered accountant and cost accountant focused on creating opportunities than being a lone beneficiary. In addition, managing her employees without a business management background was also a challenge. “Despite an entire gamut of challenges I had to face, the first five years of my AscentHR journey engendered the best epoch in my life. The whole team was extremely close to each other & always wanted to on-board the most challenging tasks, and as a result, today we are best-known for the exceptional quality we possess in our deliverables. We never deliver 99.99 percent, but make sure it is always 100 percent,” adjoins Geeta.

Geeta was extremely cautious in working on her weaknesses, and thus, within the first few years, she transformed her weaknesses into her biggest strengths. She believed in empowering sub ordinates to take responsibilities and take right decisions. She has been successful in grooming leaders and excellent management professionals with all the responsibilities of driving a successful organization in the backdrop. These leaders today have been with the organization show casing real sense of commitment and perseverance imbibed from Geeta.“When I look back, our cautious investment on technology during our initial days led to our stabilized growth. With focus on technology in last one decade there has been an exponential outcome and has been our biggest strength in the market today,” Geeta reminisces.
