In an exclusive interview with CEO Insights Magazine, Hashem Albahrani walks us through his professional journey along with the unique traits of the company.
Shed light on expertise that you bring to the table as a leader
I hold myself accountable and can operate within established protocols in order to be an effective leader. Furthermore, I aim to exude energy and the potential to see into the future of the company and set clear, tangible goals that will benefit the organization. I've always been confident and optimistic, inspiring others to do the same. Further more, being a visionary entails managing change while maintaining a balance between stability and growth. I underline the need of knowing that continual change is required, and that being adaptive and nimble in implementing new strategies and allowing the business model to evolve over time is of the biggest importance. Further, making decisions in a quickly changing environment and managing the organization in a difficult setting by selecting appropriate courses of action.
Throw some light on your professional background and experience. How has been your journey so far with RA prime and what drives you today as an investment leader?
There is no doubt that the road to entrepreneurship is fraught with difficulties and hurdles. The most difficult obstacles in the beginning were establishing the company and asserting itself in the market against other competitors. And right now, the most difficult problem is maintaining the quality of services in the financial and investment sector for clients, as well as developing our service deliver
ability.To that end we are always improving our processes and expertise to provide clients with best-in-class services. This is critical, especially in today's highly competitive economic world, where there is no space for failure.
How would you define RAprime as an organization and its position in the market? What is the unique proposition that your organization offers to clients?
Today, we are delighted to state that we are market leaders. This is not an exaggeration; rather, our progress and execution over the last five years speak for itself. We established benchmarks in areas where most of our rivals are adjusting their policies and services to keep up with changing market dynamics. Our policies and services are carefully crafted to assure complete client satisfaction. To keep up with the times, we are constantly altering and developing our policies. Throughout our activities, we have established a place for ourselves and altered the market compass, with many of our competitors leveraging our approaches to remain competitive in the present market environment.
Reflect on some of the major challenges you have experienced in your journey so far? How did you overcome them and what did you learn from them?
One of the most prominent challenges I faced during the inception of RAprime is with respect to providing the desired services that clients actually demand for at the cheapest cost possible. Hence prioritizing on offering clients with more competitive prices than our competitors without neglecting the quality. I have continuously worked for more than sixteen hours a day seven days a week in different departments of the company so as to reduce the cost of employees and the overall operations. The team consists of two persons me and my partner Roghayeh Najafi who is the Co-Founder & Chief Operation Officer of the company.Together, we used to work in sales, customer services, marketing, designing, in addition to carrying out market analyses and organizing training courses which we consider as the main element and the purpose of establishing RAprime. The company was established by 2 persons in a very small office and now we have more than 25 employees and the company headquarters is much bigger than six offices during the establishment period.
There is no business in the world that begins and ends perfectly. Being in the right place at the right moment is fundamental. One should be passionate about what they do. And if you believe in an idea, act on it even if everyone else does not.
How would you define RAprime as an organization and its position in the market? What is the unique proposition that your organization offers to clients?

As a result, I have merged my professional life with my personal life since I enjoy my work. I believe in working whenever and wherever I want, whether it's from the workplace, the beach, or while spending time with my family. This mindset has significantly aided the organization in overcoming the Covid-19 outbreak. The same has been relayed to all of our employees, wherein, the whole team was performing their duties to the fullest by remotely working across geographies. Working hard and focusing on one's goal until it is attained has been my success mantra. Furthermore, the most crucial step is the first one, in which you perform what you enjoy and align it with market demands.
Going forward, what are the changes in market behavior that you anticipate and what are the opportunities that you foresee?
The market environment has radically shifted since the epidemic, with remote and hybrid work gaining more popularity than before. Furthermore the investment marketplace and the rapidly expanding trading are full of opportunities and surprises. The current generation is financially aware and interested in trading and investing. And I have a lot of respect for this promising generation. Having said that the best investing opportunities are during catastrophes such as the Covid-19 epidemic. And I anticipate further growth in digital disciplines, as well as those reliant on the internet and artificial intelligence.
