Given your experience in remote operations during the pandemic, how have you applied that knowledge to build Scrolling Rabbit’s digital workforce?
The pandemic was a test of adaptability, and my experience at 22feet Tribal Worldwide helped me quickly implement tools and processes to ensure business continuity. At Scrolling Rabbit, I applied the same principles of streamlined workflows, templated tasks, and clear communication channels, all of which are crucial for a remote-first agency.
The success of a digital agency hinges on its people, so I also take a hands-on approach to hiring. I personally interview every candidate to ensure cultural fit and skill alignment, as there is no recruiter at Scrolling Rabbit. This focus on hiring the right people has helped us build a resilient and efficient digital workforce.
What are the core values and practices you emphasize when managing a digital agency, and how do they contribute to business suc- cess?
Agility and collaboration are at the core of what I impart to my team. We operate in a fast-paced environment, so being able to pivot quickly is essential. At Scrolling Rabbit, I emphasize a people-first approach by hiring the right talent and nurturing a culture of open communication.
We also practice data-driven decision-making, ensuring that our strategies are grounded in insights rather than assumptions. This allows us to deliver measurable results for clients. Lastly, I stress the importance of continuous learning, enco- uraging the team to stay updated on trends and constantly innovate.
What role do you play in shaping Scrolling Rabbit’s talent and team-building strategy, and how does that contribute to the agency’s success?
At Scrolling Rabbit, I’ve consciously decided not to have a dedicated recruiter at this stage, as I believe the early stages of building a team require a hands-on approach. I’m personally involved in inter- viewing every candidate at the very first round of screening stage, ensuring that each person aligns with our agency’s values and the specific skills we need. While we don’t have a recruiter, we’ve developed a structured HR process that ensures consistency in hiring, onboarding, and team development.
This approach allows us to focus on hiring individuals who are not only technically proficient but also adaptable and collaborative. Once onboard, we foster a culture where innovation and teamwork are prioritized. This has been crucial in building a cohesive team that drives our success, especially as we’ve scaled remotely and handled complex projects with efficiency and agility.
How do you see the digital landscape evolving, and what opportunities do you foresee for Scrolling Rabbit?
The digital landscape is evolving rapidly, particularly with the advent of AI and automation. I believe the next big wave will be around hyper-personalization, delivering tailored experiences to customers in real-time using AI-powered tools. Augmented and virtual reality will also open new opportunities for immersive digital experiences.
For Scrolling Rabbit, the focus will be on adopting these emerging technologies while staying true to our core values of agility and results-oriented strategy. By continually upskilling our team and staying at the forefront of digital trends, we can maintain our leadership in the industry.
