Mohit Jindal

Co-Founder & Promoter

An ambitious entrepreneur must be a leader, creator, thinker, and motivator for his staff, to name a few qualities. To be an entrepreneur, you must be willing to take chances. However, becoming an entrepreneur is challenging and takes more than simply desire, such as the ability to spot possible opportunities. Similarly, SK Minerals Co-Founder Mohit Jindal recognized an opportunity to establish a company in Punjab focused on selling chemical/minerals products to a variety of industrial sectors.

Mohit, along with the other co-founders, established SK Minerals with a strong reliance on honesty and ethical practices; a customer-focused strategy that necessitates the organizational procedures and services to revolve around what matters most to the clients. SK Minerals is now one of the India's fastest-growing and most successful chemical companies. Take a look at the extract from Mohit's exclusive interview with “'CEO Insights' magazine.

How has your journey with SK Minerals been so far and what drives you today?
My professional background is as a company secretary and cost accountant, and I have spent the last nine to ten years working with several corporates in Delhi, NCR, and Punjab. After that, I chose to employ my professional expertise in my own firm, and in 2014, I joined SK Minerals with the intention of boosting the company's market share with the skills I had acquired thus far. When comparing 2014 to now, our sales have increased significantly over the last five to six years. We climbed to 120 CR last year and expect sales of 250 CR this year. Our services used to be limited to one or two industrial areas, but we have now extended to five.

How would you characterize SK
Minerals as an organisation and its market presence? What is your company's distinct value offering to its customers?
We place more emphasis on core attributes that customers usually seek, such as competitive price and product quality. As a result, the first two pillars have been established, and the third fundamental, which I feel is crucial, is on time delivery. In today's volatile economy, the necessity of timely delivery cannot be understated. The objective of SK Minerals is to provide high quality items at affordable costs and on schedule. These are the factors that, corollary, propel our significant market growth and worth.

I believe that it is not your location that determines your success, but rather the kind of organizational structure you create and the value you deliver to your consumers

Why did you choose Punjab to be the breeding ground for your company? How has the place favored you so far in your operations?
I had always wanted to return to Punjab, my hometown. Furthermore, there are few chemical and mineral importers in Punjab, we had the opportunity and potential to serve our domestic market when we formed SK Minerals. Furthermore, because of my Punjabi heritage, I

was able to easily connect with local clients, and we were able to swiftly create a clientele in Punjab. This, I feel, was the most obvious benefit for us. Moreover, as a leader of my firm, I believe that it is not your location that determines your success, but rather the kind of organizational structure you create and the value you deliver to your consumers.

What is your success mantra?
In my opinion, one must invest the time and effort necessary to learn
the principles essential for individual and organizational success. Furthermore, we must be extremely ethical in providing things to our clients, even if the price increases significantly, and SK Minerals is quite conscientious in this respect. And in keeping with our successphilosophy, we are constantly looking for methods to provide highquality things at a reasonable prices.

What changes in market behavior do you expect to see in the future, and what possibilities do you envision?
We deal in the chemical products business, which has a ton of potential. SK Minerals, on the other hand, has just recently created a manufacturing facility since we are concentrating on import replacement, and we have also filed three patents owing to our inhouse R&D department. Our new production unit will prioritize import substitution as well as the export market. It's worth mentioning that this market is highly enthusiastic about its prospects. Although the market is witnessing a slight price fall, demand in the sector is quite buoyant and will continue to be so.

What recommendations would you provide to aspiring entrepreneurs premised on your extensive industry experience?
Based on my experience, I would suggest that if you want to succeed, you must first set a goal and work hard to attain it. Furthermore, you must have a clear notion of what you want to achieve and how you intend to do it. We need to know why, what, and how, and I feel that as an entrepreneur, you should focus on these three areas. There are no boundaries to what you can do if you keep these three basic concepts in mind.
