What inspired you to start this journey with Patel Jewellers?
Patel Jewellers is one of the leading jewellers in Maharashtra & Gujarat. Foundational stone of Patel Jewellers was laid by Honorable Shri Maganbhai Patel, 29 years ago. Possessing the base experience of three decades in the jewelry industry, he added the milestone to the heritage of Patel Jewellers. The traditional legacy of Indian jewelry designs & the love of customers towards the jewelry inspired us to start this business to fulfill the accomplishments & inspirations of jewelry lovers. In recent times, after conversion from partnership firm to corporate culture, Shri Maganbhai became the chairperson. I joined as a valued employee, and slowly enriched myself with my business principles, due to which I hold the role of the company’s CEO.
How would you define Patel Jewellers and its position in the market?
We are enriched with the trust and legacy of serving customers with unparalleled traditional jewelry patterns and offerings that connect with Indian traditional culture. At this moment, our palatial jewelry showrooms grant a great aura of shopping moments to customers
with extensive assortments of jewelry products, varying from Gold to Silver, Diamond, Platinum and Gemstones, which add up merit to our services.
You've carried forward the heritage of the brand. What is your success mantra?
The only success mantra we have is the values of uprightness, purity, morality & transparency that we maintain to keep the trust intact, legacy and binding the customer traditionally with generations together. Being customer friendly, modest & ethically righteous, we have cultivated trust in the hearts, souls & minds of our numerous valued customers. These qualities are what made us successful in carrying forward the heritage of our brand 'Patel Jewellers'.
As the CEO of Patel Jewellers, how do you maintain this reputation, and how does your establishment differentiate itself from the competition?
There is no shortcut to this. We keep our ethical values and business principles intact, and always focus on purity of & quality products. Our gold jewelry possesses BIS Hallmark and diamonds which are certified by a third party. The gold products in our showroom possess the purity of 18, 22, & 24 Karats i.e. 999.
Furthermore, we bring customers to the center of everything. We engender creative jewelry designs that match the jewelry aspirations of the youth, while also preserving the traditional Indian jewelry culture through our authentic jewelry designs. Starting the e-Commerce shopping service in 2016 accounts for the same reason – convenience of our customers. Our e-Stores today upgrade the online jewelry shopping experience to the next level by providing our customers with wide access to extensive designs – from elegant daily wear to exclusive royal Indian traditional designs – at an equally wide price range, meeting different customer budgets.

How has been your response to the challenges posed by the Covid-affected market and the need for new strategies? Describe your role in tackling those challenges?
During the tough times of the pandemic, we focused on the online selling of the jewelry & delivered the jewelry orders at the customer's doorstep. We always keep ourselves ready for customer satisfaction at any given point in time irrespective of any environmental challenges.
In current times, everyone is gearing up their business online. We have also increased our online presence and the love for our designs shown by our customers have been a significant part of this. On the other hand, in our showrooms, we followed every precautionary COVID-19 guideline released by the government authorities from time to time. We think this year sales might be slow due to coronavirus pandemic, but with God grace, 100 percent of our regular sales turned back as Gold is always seen as a good investment opportunity in India.
What are the achievements that you consider as the most important?
With invincible trust gained over 29 years, we turned our business focus towards Panvel city & other inner parts of Maharashtra state for augmenting our customer-base in cities like Pen and Uran. Recently, our new outlets opened in Panvel by the name of ‘Parivar Jewellers’ and 'Patel Maganbhai Jewellers’ amidst the tough times of the Pandemic. In Gujrat, we opened 'Modasa Showroom' in 2015, and recently opened a new Showroom at Mehsana, which is the biggest jewelry showroom in North Gujarat and is a milepost for us. It gained unbelievable response from new customers in an instant. In short, every new showroom opening gives us utmost satisfaction and is a new business milestone.
