Take us through the inspiration behind your professional journey. What drives youtoday as an administrative leader?
I have done my management in Human Resource parallel to which I have worked with several organizations funded by the Government of India. During my initial working years, I had developed a keen interest in honing my skill sets in the area of data interpretation. Gradually, I got inclined to make a move in the management of the HR department in the education sector. During this journey, I was fortunate to work with Indian Institute of Management, Indore where I further sharpened my Human Resource and Administration skills. Thereafter, I indulged myself into some challenging assignments where I successfully established the HR and Administrative practices from the scratch. This is when I received an offer to establish the HR and Administrative setup at Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore. I aim at introducing innovative ways and strive to provide the best industry ambience and work
environment for the stake holders.
Throw some light on Jaipuria Institute of Management. How is it unique from other private B-Schools in the region?
Jaipuria Institute of Management was established in 1945 in Kolkata with a legacy of education. It is one step ahead of other educational institutes with its campuses at Lucknow, Noida, Jaipur and Indore. In just 11 years of its existence in Madhya Pradesh, it has become one of the best Institution of central India. The unique 'Uncampus' concept followed at Jaipuria provides a gamut of opportuni ties to students in terms of admissions, training and placements. The unique module on 'Mentorship' enables students to develop a strong base to explore unlimited opportunities for their bright career.
What is the success mantra behind your demonstrated career in the higher education industry?
Today's dynamic work environment requires a lot of networking skills and continuous efforts to achieve the desired goals of the organization. I believe in commitment, consistency, passion, compassion and the attitude to learn new things without giving up.
What strategies did you follow to overcome the challenges imposed by the pandemic?
Covid-19 pandemic came with innumerable challenges especially for educational institutions. At Jaipuria we developed a task force to place 'SOP' under Covid norms in the campus without any compromise on the health, safety and security of stakeholders. We also invested in technology by installing a temperature and face recognition machine which helps in authentication of stake holders.

Assisting Late Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam, former President of India, during his visits to Indore, was very satisfying. The magnanimity of Dr. Kalam created a very strong impact on my lookout towards work and life at large. I have been very fortunate to work under the dynamic leaderships at various organizations till date which has helped me reach where I am today.
What are the future developments that you expect in the industry and how are you molding the institution with respect to this?
Jaipuria Institute of Management, Indore is diligently working towards further upgrading the campus to a self sustained campus with all modern amenities. Apart from the world class infrastructure our focus is also on the quality, spread and diversity of students by strengthening and extending undergraduate outreach programs. We have commenced offering a fellow program(FPM) besides providing consultancy & MDP to industry professionals. We endeavor to further improve quality and profiles of placements for our students. In order to improve community and social outreach we have adopted 'Dakachya' institute's community village, under Jai Care Social Immersion Program. We wish to create strong footprints in the cultural and social landscape through effective MOUs and collaborations and facilitate entrepreneurship amongst the youth through a full fledged incubation center. Our future plans also include establishing the Centre of Excellence in Business Analytics in association with Institute of Analytics (IoA), UK and to launch PGDM (Business Analytics) in 2022-23. AACSB International Accreditation is another focus for which we are working towards.
