Rahul Prajapat & Suhas Patel: Passionate Technocrats Aiming To Change The Metal Manufacturing Industry Through Unique Offerings
Rahul Prajapat

Can you talk more about your educational and professional background?
I am alumnus of IIT Mumbai and my background is in Electrical Engineering. During my academic days itself, I have done a lot of projects based on various instrumentations, robotics, AI, signal processing, image processing and speech processing. One of the most notable projects that I have been a part of was a project that I did on building a Robotic Arm for MARS rover expedition program which was conducted by MSA in Australia.
I also have previous work experience of working in Japan for a company called NTT who was into Cloud Services in 2017, I went to Germany to pursue my aspirations of working on Industry 4.0.
Can you talk more about Tvarit and its operations?
I was keen on working on Industry 4.0 and we are as of now building AI algorithms to reduce scrap, reduce unplanned downtime, handle inventory optimization and to handle supply chain scenarios for industries. Recently, we have started focusing on small and medium enterprise who are into metal processing. We want to exclusively focus on this segment to create a niche in the market owing to the fact that it shows immense untapped potential. We are quickly developing into world's number one Industry 4.0 Factory Digitalization Software company for manufacturing metal to this. And we are aspiring to be a unicorn in this segment by improving the quality of our offerings. As of now, we have our offices in India and Germany, and we cater to ensure that all our client's expectations are met. More importantly, we want to be a change bringer in the industry through our services by reducing unwanted scrap, reducing machine break down, reducing energy consumption, and increasing the efficiency of supply chain. Our vision is to drive the Metal industry towards sustainable and zero waste manufacturing using AI.
What are some of the major challenges that you faced in the industry?
Developing the company from scratch was a challenge in itself but I knew that challenges were part and parcel of running a business. Also, finding clients proved to be hustle in the beginning. We hit our big breakthrough in Stuttgart Hackathon conducted by BOSCH where our team was ranked first in the category of entity awards. This helped us to get more clients who trusted us and our skills.
With that said, the well established

We want to impact 1000+ metal factories in the next 4-5 years. With very easy-to-understand AI technology, our software would be helping 0.3-0.5 million plants engineers/ operators in Metal manufacturing industry

startup culture and ecosystem in Germany motivated me to continue our operations in Germany.
What are some of the major milestones in your career that bestowed you utmost satisfaction?
HPAIR is one conference that I got selected for which was conducted by Harvard University. And in this conference, a plethora of topics are discussed including research, innovation, and societal problems to name a few. Attending the conference helped me to not only meet and get to know fellow entrepreneurs, but also to shape my vision. We have been able to develop to a GmbH company in Germany which helps us to get more clients and increase the trust factor. We launched our first product in the Hannover Exhibition, and this was a huge milestone for us.And as of now, we have positively impacted 54 different industrial plants with our technology. With all this, we have been able to clock in impressive growth numbers consistently.
What are your futuristic plans and how do you wish to steer them ahead?
We want to impact 1000+ metal factories in the next 4-5 years. With very easy-to-understand AI technology, our software would be helping 0.3-0.5 million plants engineers/operators in Metal manufacturing industry. As we also talked about Scrap & Energy, being the biggest focus for the Metal manufacturing industry. Apart from that, we are looking forward to making a huge impact on the environment and sustainability. Currently, we have a huge presence in Germany and India, but looking at many inbound inquiries from other EU countries as well as North/South America, we are planning to expand our presence by starting operations in various countries across the globe.
