What is the success mantra that enabled you to reach where you are today?
I usually refrain from setting any ambitious goals but I do believe that one needs to have SMART goals and a strong review mechanism. I have interacted with many successful professionals and I can easily deduce that 'this is a common trait.' However, I believe that one needs to be flexible, so that, goals and aspirations can be tweaked to suit situational demands.
What are the most helpful strategies and technological tools you have used? How do you plan to implement them in Mavens World Training & Advisory?
A consultant should be an excellent listener to understand the hot buttons/ levers which play an imperative role in driving change in an organization. Instead of pushing tools like others, I like to work backward and prefer a mixture of tools that is most suitable for solving the problem. Inculcating the same philosophy at Mavens World, we have started our problem solving process on a clean sheet. To be honest, I find issue trees and hypothesis based problem solving to be the most impactful tools for this arena.

What are the significant changes in market behavior that you anticipate, and how do you keep yourself updated with the changing needs of the market?
As we are getting accustomed to the Digital ways of transacting our day to day affairs, I see several more fundamental shifts in how things will be done in the upcoming future. In our consulting world, I see great down drift for the need to do onsite consulting and the system has been replaced by experts aided by technology providing remote consulting in an extremely flexible and cost effective manner. Capturing this trend quite early at Mavens owrld, we are currently working with our expert universe to deliver across this segment.
What would be your advice for the upcoming leaders starting anew in this industry, especially about maintaining a perfect work life balance?
As Confucius quoted once, "Choose a job you love and you'll never have to work a day in your life". When work is no longer an imposition on your time, work life balance is easier. Instead of getting overburdened with work, I would advise every youngster to cultivate multiple interests. I have seen some of the busiest and most successful leaders/consultants taking holidays regularly, playing sports, watching cricket/ movies, and discussing current affairs as if they have all the time. That is the balance one needs to strike.
