Take us through your professional background and experience. What basic lessons did you learn from the initial journey?
My career started as a site engineer in the Cement industry. After one year, I shifted to structural design engineering and worked for a civil & structural engineering consultancy, where I was fortunately exposed to
the design of chemical industry, pharma ceutical industry, and service industry structures.

The experience gave me a broader under standing of different segments. Later, I joined BHAGWATI DESIGNS(India) a leading organization providing civil and structural engineering service to the cement industry & captive power across India. Here the major part of my knowledge and expertise was acquired in terms of integrated services of all disciplines in the cement Industry and captive power.

With its unwavering grit, STRUCTURE VISION DESIGNS(India) has proved to be one of the renowned companies in the industry within its last 12 years of operation

In a few years, Bhagwati Designs was taken over by FLSmidth. In 2008, I decided to start my own organization by leveraging the varied experience and STRUCTURE VISION DESIGNS (India) was born.

What inspired you to start your company in the Civil, Structural & Architectural Engineering industry, and what drives you today as an entrepreneur?
After leaving FLSmidth in 2008 due to the global recession, the situation demanded I re-locate for a new job. But my better half who is also an M.Tech in Structures was working in the Hyderabad Govt sector as an Assistant Executive Engineer. There was no option of transferring and moving to another place, and I was not interested as well. I started thinking about how to use my knowledge in better ways. I began analysing and was inspired to start my own journey as an entrepreneur. The industry on the whole is very exciting. My interest in working for core engineering services and the growth opportunities drives me as a go-getter in Civil, Structural & Architectural engineering.

How would you define STRUCTURE VISION DESIGNS (India) as an organization and its position in the market? What is the unique proposition that your organization offers to its clients?
I am committed to driving the organization to the level of client satisfaction with our civil and structural engineering consultancy services. Our expertise and standard engineering practices with quality design and detailing in the drawings make flawless execution at the construction site.
All rounder experience training the working team to the needs of projects/ clients requirements, and matching the clients/project schedules are the key USPs of our organization.

What is the success mantra that helped you reach where you are today?
Our expertise and standard engineering practices and updated services keeping the client requirements in mind are the attributes that contribute to our consistent growth. My leadership style focuses on the standardization of design and detailing of engineering services to save the time and cost of man-hours for the projects.

In your professional journey so far, which are the milestones that bestowed you with utmost satisfaction? Also, with all these experiences, what changes in market behaviour do you anticipate?
I cherish the moments we could complete our civil & structural engineering consultancy services for our projects like:
•Plant upgradation & Forensic structural engineering for the 30 years old structure like cement & raw meal double deck silos and preheater structure at J.K WHITE & GREY CEMENT Gotan, Rajastan, India.
•0.6MTPA Putty Plant Green Field project for J.K WHITE Katni, Madhyapradesh, India. Includes for line II & III expansions also.
•3000TPD Grinding unit for THE RAMCO CEMENTS Line I & II at Vizag, Andhra Pradesh, India.
•Star cements Grinding unit at Liberia, South Africa.
•Sonapur Cements-1500Tpd Plant expansion in Nepal.

Speaking of market changes, clients today expect end-to-end services at low cost even though all sections price is increasing(i.e petrol and essential commodities). This leads to a cost increase in hiring the employees and more. We will have to explain to the clients about our cost economics and convince them to get the new opportunities.
