Tell us about Kanodia Group’s inception into the cement industry.
We are from a remote district of Uttar Pradesh, known as Deoria where we first laid the bricks for our organization as a cement retailer. The experience was invigorating and a life-lesson that taught us everything we had to know as a part of this manufacturing sector. The first taste of success came in the form of our first grinding unit in 2011 in the small town of Shikandarabad(UP) which led to monumental growth as we moved on to establish two more units in
Shikandrabad (UP) and Kaimur, Bihar respectively.

Tell us about the products manufactured at Kanodia Group.
Today, we are recognized as one of the premier cement manufacturers in the central/north region of India. Our success does not end here our perseverance further encouraged us to add new products to our line like Concrete Gold Cement, BigCem Cement, and Premium Plus Cement, which are already garnering attention from Western UP, Uttrakhand, Delhi & Haryana. We will soon enter the central and eastern UP market to leverage the industrial capacity of the region.

What differentiates Kanodia Group from other industrial stakeholders and competi tors?
Our forte lies in quality. While many claim quality products and manufacturing processes, many are quite detrimental which may lead to a weak structure. We are very vigilant about the quality of our products and customer satisfaction.

We blend these two to give what every customer requires a premium service.

In order to keep a tight ring on our quality, we aim to improve our network and customer base, ask them about their experience and work towards building a product that they require. We are also keen on timely delivery, and hence, operate only in the Cement Deficit Zone with a marketing perimeter of not more than 250km radius that takes maximum 24 hours to complete.

Additionally since we are keeping the radius small, the freight transfer becomes very economical which is yet another bonus we offer to our customers. If we are to give you the secret recipe for our USP, there is quality care and customer centric these agendas make us the perfect cement manufacturing service provider to our client.

What is the future of the cement
manufacturing sector and how are you leve raging it?
There is high rise demand in commercial, housing and industrial construction. This demand alone can pump up the cement consumption to a whopping 550-600 million tons per annum (MTPA) by the year 2025. Since housing since remote working is now ruling the roost.

At Kanodia Group, we are trying to match up the demand without compromising on quality. As mentioned, we have three grinding units across UP and Bihar where each has the capacity to accommodate 1.5 MTPA and the total installation capacity will increase to 5 MTPA by December, 2021, which may make us one of the fastest growing cement manufacturers in the central region.

In the last decade, Kanodia Group's humble beginnings led to its current position of being one of the best businesses in the cement manufacturing industry recognition offered by several industrial stakeholders and awarded by several institutions. We are currently in the process of acquiring limestone mines in order to gain access to the raw material Clinker for the grinding units.

Apart from the cement manufacturing industry, we are also a part of the hygiene sector. Although still new, we have gained certain fluency in the market and have established India's largest hygiene plant that produces raw materials for the sector and as well as final products. Our unit creates several hygiene products like baby wipes, sanitary napkins to name a few, which will generate direct and indirect employment opportunities for more than 2000 people.
