The world is increasingly turning to renewable energy to power its homes, businesses, and industries. The factors driving the growth of renewable energy are the declining cost of renewable technologies, the need to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and the desire to move away from fossil fuels. Based in Spain, EIDF Solar is a vertically integrated solar PV platform market for industrial and corporate clients holding over a 19 percent market share of PV self-consumption (PNIEC reference) is the company’s main growth pillar that has reached strong Q3 results, well above estimates. Revenues jumped from €20m to €135million YoY in Q3, 32 percent above our €103million estimate. EBITDA reached €21million in Q3 (vs. €5million in 3Q21) due to a much stronger than expected contribution from both self-consumption and supply. EIDF has not reported further P&L details below the EBITDA level. Net debt was roughly flat QoQ at €58million, roughly in line with estimates.
