Dealing with employee shortage can be difficult, but not dealing with them can be worse. The growing technology trends and the business opportunities that follow are affecting the rise of global talent shortage. A study observes, there will be a global human talent shortage of more than 85 million people by 2030. Among all other countries, the US is going through a predominant scarcity of labor in the IT sector, especially after the pandemic. According to the latest US labor statistics, by the end of 2020, there were 1.4 million unfilled IT jobs. The US is under the risk of facing an unrealized output of $162 billion if the country's software developer shortage keeps growing at the same pace. Business development and digital transformation are nearly impossible without new talent, which makes the gap between tech talent supply and demand more sensitive. On the other hand, a recent study suggests that India could have a surplus of more than one million high-skilled tech workers by 2030. Pritish Malaiya, Founder & Chief Growth Officer, Talentmatics moves ahead with a simple agenda of rising with the rise in demand for the right talent.
