  • Company of the Year – 2021

Despite an ongoing reign of COVID-19 clubbed with a crippling economic recovery which is now gaining momentum, the enterprise ecosystem in India is performing well beyond mere survival. In fact, the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) reported a significant improvement in consumer and industry sentiments with the numbers increasing to 131 in October compared to 113.1 earlier this year. Businesses that particularly belonged to the healthcare, manufacturing, IT, mobility, ecommerce and retail now appear as a magnet pooling in investors in and around the nation. Technology can be regarded as a major silver lining in the cloud to these sectors, as solutions induced with latest technologies is not a solution to enterprises' customers alone, but a solution that became the lifeblood to many declining businesses' health. Additionally, other aspects such as fund raising events, IPO (Initial Public Offering), policies, public's fast shift to adapting to use more digital solutions, and partnerships are collectively nursing back and further bolstering enterprises' growth to press forward for years.

However, it's also noteworthy that India's strong will on being Atmanirbhar or its efforts to bank on using indigenously developed solutions is yet an enormous ray of hope boosting its aim of being completely self-reliant. On that note, it also plans to rise as a globally renowned manufacturing sector for international brands to rely on in the near future. The credits for these umpteen efforts can indeed be bestowed upon the combined strength of enterprises of all sizes for not backing down despite chip shortages, continual oil disputes, unemployment, digital illiteracy and poor economic growth.

In commemoration of the accelerated growth of Indian enterprises, CEO Insights has compiled a list of companies that have proven immense proficiency in specializing with the new normal, finding alternative revenue streams, and delivering uncompromised quality. With that said, this yearly special issue, ‘Company of the Year', has been strictly examined by a panel of experts including industry veterans & subject matter experts, CMOs, CEOs, analysts, alongside the CEO Insights editorial team.
