Indians are the second largest group of immigrants in the US, accounting for about six percent of foreign born population of US. US is the second most popular destination for Indians living abroad, after the United Arab Emirates. Not only Indian immigrants in US are large, they are also highly educated, work in management positions, and have higher incomes. Over the years, Indians have slowly but steadily climbed up the corporate ladders globally to reach the stern of biggest global companies.
