Sanjay Agarwal , COO & Director, IJMII
Over the last few years, the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has been on a roll, completing several groundbreaking projects in record time. A few months ago, NHAI hit the spotlight yet again by setting a record by laying 25.54 kilometers of road in a short span of 17:45 hours on the Solapur Bijapur section on National Highway 13. Lend your ears to NHAI’s Project Director Sanjay Kadam who poured praises on the project partner: “This critical activity has not been attempted in such a short span of time by any construction company in India. It is a proud moment for us and I am extremely delighted to be a part of this initiative”. We are talking about IJM (India) Infrastructure (IJMII), the Indian subsidiary (operating from Hyderabad since 1998) of a Malaysian multinational corporation. Sanjay Agarwal (COO & Director, IJMII), an Infrastructure industry veteran and an expert in mega projects, has been at the forefront of many such ‘firsts’ in the country across public, commercial and residential projects.
