Top 10 Leaders in Drone Technology - 2021
Recent years have witnessed an increase in the wide adoption of drones in India due to the realization of their immense potential. Today, they are used as substitutes to humans to perform difficult and time consuming tasks. In 2021, the government upgraded existing drone norms in India. The new regulations enabled commercial usage of drones, granted drones a legal status and made the market more liberal & conducive for its application in various segments. This has boosted the drone business in our country. Drones are used in a wide range of applications, from simple photography to surveillance, spreading awareness, disaster management, monitoring roads & railway lines and even delivering essentials or food items to customers. According to news reports, currently, there are 150-200 startups in India that are part of the drone ecosystem, and drone taxis are expected to be launched soon.
