In truth, when it comes to eating mangoes, every afternoon could be a Sunday afternoon for us Indians, because mangoes are more ‘home’ than anything else around us and the taste immediately engenders a homely feel. It’s no wonder India is the largest exporter of mango pulp in the world. In 2021- 22 India exported 123,476 MT of mango pulp valued at Rs.924.54 crores, in 2020-21 exported 98,369 MT of mango pulp valued at Rs.714.40 crores and in 2019-20 India exported 85,725 MT of mango pulp valued at Rs.584.31 crores. Sharing this legacy of mangoes with our country over the past five decades is Tasa Foods, the largest producer of Mango Pulp and Concentrates in the country. Anything food, freshness & hygiene is the name of the game. Being one of the largest raw mango traders & fruit supply companies in both the commercial and local markets in India for over 50 years, Tasa has been able to build the largest farmer network across the country, which helps it ceaselessly maintain its reputation for freshness and hygiene intact, not to mention its state-of-the-art processing plants.

T he food and beverage is overall the most sought industry worldwide, and in India too, the industry is progressing at a consistent rate. Today, the F&B industry in India has burgeoned with the growing trends of restaurant technology, hospitality industry and dine-out/take-outs sector. India has a large young population and a strong F&B sector, with a potential consumer base that far outstrips the majority of other nations in both the developed and developing world. According to Technavo Global reports, the Indian F&B Industry is emerging as a high-profit sector, and accounts for about three percent of India's GDP and around 2/3rd of the total retail market in India. Moreover, the revenue in the food and beverage business segment is estimated to show a CAGR growth rate of 14.2 percent during 2020-2024. However, the nationwide lockdown had slowed down this growth, and decreased the overall revenue generation during 2020, but to offset these challenges and regain profitability, the industry has been adapting and innovating strategies, and growing stronger focusing on customer centricity.

According to new reports by Avendus Capital, India's health-focused foods and beverages market is expected to grow from 11 percent of the packaged foods and beverages market in calendar year 2020 to 16 percent or $30 billion by calendar year 2026.
