EHospitals are the institution providing medical & surgical treatment and nursing care for any ill or injured people. The hospital industry has travelled a long journey from a time when hospitals were used to be synonym to temples or home where people used to go to take complete rest and wait till death. Today, hospitals are a hi-tech organizations. The Indian healthcare sector which was worth $110 billion in 2016, is expected to record a three-fold rise, growing at a CAGR of 22 percent between 2016–2022 and reach $372 billion in 2022. By FY22, Indian healthcare infrastructure is expected to reach $349.1 billion.

Effective hospital leadership is associated with optimal hospital performance. It is allied to a wide range of hospital functions and is an integral component of the healthcare system.
