The Indian advertising market exhibited strong growth during 2015-2020 and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 11 percent during 2021-2026. Earlier television and newspaper were the major mediums for advertising. With the penetration of online media and growth of online advertisements, the marketing industry has gone through much advancement. The mobile phone era followed by the penetration of 3G and 4G technologies have changed the way products are marketed to the people. Today, online marketing and advertising have become the most chosen ways of publicizing a product or an organization. India, especially with its huge demographic dividend of millennials and GenZ and penetration of internet and smart phones, has become one of the largest hotspot for online advertisements.
