Top 10 Leaders In Telangana - 2022
Telangana is the youngest state in India formed in the year 2014. The capital city of the state, Hyderabad is the hub of IT and pharmaceutical industries. The city was ranked amongst the top 20 global cities in JLL's City Momentum Index (CMI) 2019. The state plays a major role in IT and ITeS exports from India, and this has increased to Rs.1,45,522 crore in 2021. The state also accounts for 20 percent of India's total pharmaceutical export. According to Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), between October 2019 and March 2021, FDI inflow in Telangana stood at $1,835 million.
Many leading global IT giants have their significant presence in the state. Automobiles & auto components industry, spices, mines & minerals, textiles & apparels, pharmaceutical, horticulture, and poultry farming are the main industries in Telangana. The location of major software giants has given the city the nickname Cyberabad. The state, considering aerospace and defence as priority industries, has two operational aerospace manufacturing parks. The state is also home to large number of MSMEs. Besides, the state has some of the well-reputed educational institutions, including 26 universities. Thus, the industries definitely don't have difficulty in finding talented resources.
