Over the past five decades, Symbiosis International (Deemed) University has been an ambassador of this thought, epitomizing the vision of 'Promoting International Understanding through Quality Education. Symbiosis is a beehive of international students from more than 85 countries all across the globe, being privy to Indian culture and hospitality.Symbiosis was established in 1971 by S. B. Mujumdar (Chancellor), the Founder & President of the Symbiosis Society, an international educational and cultural center, and chancellor of Symbiosis International University. In 2005, he was awarded the Padma Shri, and seven years later, the Padma Bhushan for his contributions to the world of education. Under his guidance and leadership, Symbiosis has produced many business leaders who guide different industries across the globe to their future.
