| | AUGUST 20238On July 25, the State government signed an agreement with Canada-based World Design Organisation (WDO) for suggestions for the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) to build the city as part of the 'Brand Bengaluru' initiative spearheaded by Deputy Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar, who also holds charge of the city.Shivakumar stated that 200 WDO engineers will be in the city to study and make recommendations on city infrastructure such as roads, flyovers, footpaths, junctions, and other infrastructure.Previously, Shivakumar had launched a 'Brand Bengaluru' campaign as well as an online portal to solicit public feedback on the city's development.On Monday, Shivakumar met with officials from the Bangalore Metropolitan Region Development Authority (BMRDA) to discuss various city-related issues. Wipro has announced a partnership with Pure Storage, a provider of enterprise data storage solutions, to assist clients in accelerating their sustainability journey through the power of technology. The goal is to empower customers to drive a more sustainable data centre footprint by providing more efficient environmental strategies.Wipro and Pure Storage will use their sustainability and technological expertise to integrate best practises in the sustainable technology industry into their clients' technology infrastructure. Instead of replacing entire systems during hardware upgrades, the emphasis will be on continuously upgrading a variety of components.
