In his new role, Stone will oversee the company's coal mining strategy, utilizing technology and innovation to improve resource efficiency, according to a company statement.Stone will play a key role in optimizing the efficiency of resources at Vedanta Aluminium's thermal power plants located in Jharsuguda and Lanjigarh in Odisha, as well as Korba in Chhattisgarh, while prioritizing sustainable mining methods.Vedanta Aluminium currently manages five operational coal mines with a total production capacity of 40 million tonnes per annum (mtpa)"We are excited to welcome David to our team.
