The two-day event, scheduled for July 3-4, will also feature Minister of State for Electronics and IT and Commerce and Industry, Jitin Prasad, addressing the gathering.The summit aims to convene international delegates, AI experts, and policymakers, fostering discussions on the advancement of artificial intelligence (AI). The first day will showcase sessions on critical AI applications and governance, including 'IndiaAI: Large Language Models'. Persistent Systems, a digital engineering and enterprise modernization firm based in India, has acquired Starfish Associates, a New Jersey-based company known for its enterprise communications automation platform. The acquisition, announced Wednesday, aims to bolster Persistent Systems' capabilities in unified communications and contact center management, leveraging advancements in AI-driven innovations.Starfish Associates serves some of the world's largest enterprises, including Fortune 500 companies, with its automation platform that integrates multi-vendor communication systems like Amazon Connect, Avaya, Cisco, Genesys, and Microsoft Teams. The integration of Starfish's platform into Persistent Systems is expected to enhance their offerings significantly amid disruptions in the industry.Sandeep Kalra, CEO and Executive Director of Persistent Systems, highlighted the strategic importance of this acquisition, emphasizing the potential for transformation in unified communications and contact center markets.
