Satya Nadella, Chairman and CEO of Microsoft, welcomed Suleyman to the team, expressing enthusiasm for his leadership in driving consumer AI products and research, including prominent platforms like Copilot, Bing, and Edge.

Suleyman brings a wealth of experience to his new role, having co-founded DeepMind, a renowned AI company later acquired by Google, where he served as the head of applied AI. Following his tenure at DeepMind, Suleyman co-founded Inflection AI in 2022, focusing on machine learning and generative AI technologies.

Expressing his vision for the future, Suleyman announced that Inflection AI will continue its mission under new leadership while expanding its reach through wider accessibility of its API to developers and businesses globally. He also highlighted the appointment of Karen Simonyan as Chief Scientist, alongside the dedication of his esteemed colleagues who have chosen to join him on this journey.

Suleyman's journey in the realm of AI began with the co-founding of DeepMind Technologies, a venture supported by notable investors including Founders' Fund and Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla.
