Adani Group Recognized in TIME's 2024 World's Best Companies List
The Adani Group, a leading Indian business conglomerate, has earned a spot in TIME magazine’s prestigious ‘World’s Best Companies of 2024’ list. This recognition highlights the group’s strong focus on employee satisfaction, revenue growth, and sustainability.
The list was compiled through a partnership between TIME and Statista, a global ranking and statistics platform. Eight of the Adani Group’s 11 publicly listed companies were included in the evaluation, with the remaining three being subsidiaries of these companies. The featured entities include Adani Enterprises Ltd, Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd, Adani Green Energy Ltd, Adani Energy Solutions Ltd, Adani Total Gas Ltd, Ambuja Cements, Adani Power Ltd, and Adani Wilmar Ltd.
According to the group, this accolade is a testament to its continued efforts to innovate and deliver high performance across its diverse sectors. Adani Group operates in various industries, including energy, utilities, transport, logistics, natural resources, and consumer goods.
The group has seen remarkable growth in emerging sectors such as solar and wind energy, as well as infrastructure projects like airports and roadways. In the first quarter of this fiscal year, Adani Group reported a 50.1% year-on-year increase in net profit, reaching Rs 10,279 crore, with EBITDA rising by 32.9% to Rs 22,570 crore.
The ‘World’s Best Companies 2024’ list was based on comprehensive evaluations across key dimensions such as employee satisfaction, revenue growth, and environmental sustainability (ESG).
