Adani Total Gas, INOXCVA Partner for India's LNG Infrastructure Boost
Adani Total Gas Ltd (ATGL) and INOX India Ltd (INOXCVA) have joined forces to advance India's LNG ecosystem. Their collaboration centers on LNG and LCNG equipment and services, with both entities holding 'preferred partner' status. The partnership aims to explore opportunities in establishing LNG/LCNG stations, satellite stations, and promoting the adoption of LNG as a transport fuel. Through combined expertise, the collaboration targets the development of small-scale LNG plants, LNG stations, and the conversion of heavy vehicles to LNG. The initiative prioritizes best practices in health, safety, environment (HSE), fuel efficiency and service quality.
Suresh P Manglani, Executive Director & CEO of ATGL, expressed that the collaboration with INOXCVA will facilitate the gradual shift of long-haul heavy vehicles and buses, currently reliant on HSD/diesel, to LNG. This transition is anticipated to lead to a notable 30% reduction in CO2 and GHG emissions. ATGL is committed to expediting the establishment of LNG stations nationwide, fostering confidence among fleet operators to embrace LNG as a transportation fuel.
Siddharth Jain, Promoter and Non-Executive Director of INOXCVA, conveyed enthusiasm about the partnership with ATGL, highlighting its role in fortifying the LNG ecosystem and promoting LNG as a viable transport fuel. He emphasized that the combined synergies, supported by the expertise and scale of both parties, will deliver significant benefits to stakeholders by reducing emissions and contributing substantially to the green transition.
