On Sept 5, the global computer software company Adobe announced a new partnership with India's Union Education Ministry. The collaboration aims to implement an Adobe Express-based curriculum and training in schools across India by 2027, with an ambitious goal of reaching over two crore students and five lakh educators.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan made the official announcement at the G-20 Leaders' Summit in India.

Pradhan commented on the significance of this collaboration, saying, "In this age of digitisation, new ideas, new innovation, and creativity, this partnership will set a new standard and benchmark for students."

As part of the collaboration, K-12 schools across the country will receive free access to Adobe Express Premium, which is set to revolutionise India's education sector.

Using Adobe Express tools, the curriculum will cover cutting-edge topics such as creativity, generative AI, design, animation, video, and other emerging technologies. Educators who complete the training will also be eligible for the coveted Adobe Creative Educators certification.

"Digital literacy is a core tenet at Adobe," said Mala Sharma, VP and GM, Global Education and Adobe Express, of the partnership. "Our partnership with India's Ministry of Education is another important step in our longstanding commitment to education and empowering India's students to make an impact in the world."
