Corporate lawyer Ankit Jaiswal has taken on the role of head of legal and compliance for the Southeast Asia (SEA) region at CarDekho Southeast Asia. Jaiswal has expressed his enthusiasm for managing the dynamic legal landscape, leading strategic initiatives, ensuring legal adherence, and maintaining corporate governance to contribute to the continued success of the company in the vibrant Southeast Asian market. Before this, Jaiswal served as the head of the legal team at ClearTax, a prominent fintech SaaS platform in India.

Jaiswal has a wealth of experience as a corporate counsel, with expertise in strategic partnerships, mergers and acquisitions, fintech, digital, private equity, joint ventures, capital raising, and initial public offerings. He also possesses in-depth knowledge of corporate commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, litigation, IP, data protection and ESG matters. His skills cover general corporate affairs, cross-border transactions, and compliance with regulatory frameworks for establishing new businesses in domestic and international jurisdictions. Additionally, he has collaborated with major tech companies such as Amazon and Paytm, offering legal guidance on M&A and investment transactions.

Previously, Jaiswal has worked at AZB & Partners, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas & Co., and L&L Partners.
