AQuity Solutions, a top supplier of tech-enabled clinical documentation, medical coding, and revenue integrity solutions, was bought by Mumbai-based health tech company IKS Health for a reported $200 million. In the US ambulatory (outpatient) industry, IKS Health holds a dominant position by handling physicians' and clinics' clinical, administrative, and financial support needs, freeing them up to concentrate on their primary business of providing clinical care.

Through acquiring AQuity, IKS can offer services along the care delivery continuum and enter the acute care sector. Operating under the name IKS Health, the combined firm will generate over $330 million in sales annually and employ over 14,000 people worldwide, providing services to over 150,000 physicians across numerous US hospitals, health systems, and specialty groups.

“Financial instability, large-scale staffing challenges, and the precarious health status of so many Americans all call for deeper, more comprehensive solutions that address these root issues”, said Sachin K. Gupta, Founder and CEO of IKS Health. “The coming together of IKS and AQuity allows us to enable Clinicians with their chores across the continuum of care”, Gupta added

IKS Health's Care Enablement Platform which includes clinical assistance, digital health solutions, revenue optimisation, and value-based care is strengthened. More specifically, IKS is able to quickly develop and expand its in-house AI solutions thanks to AQuity's abundant datasets.
