AWS SaaS Central Concludes Program for Indian SaaS Startups with Success
SaaS Central 2023, a three-day intensive programme to support Indian SaaS startups, recently concluded with great success. For the past three years, the programme has provided participating startups with expert guidance from a combined team of AWS and Prime Venture Partners experts, as well as established SaaS founders.
Several factors have contributed to the growth of SaaS unicorns in India. A strong technological ecosystem, a talented pool of software developers and engineers, and rising demand for low-cost, cloud-based software solutions. Government initiatives that provide funding assistance, tax breaks, and easier access to capital are also fueling the growth of SaaS.
Indian SaaS startups such as Fluid AI, Crux, Humalect, KloudMate, and Drishya.ai, among others, have received international recognition for their innovative solutions. This recognition has led to increased investments and partnerships with international companies, allowing them to expand their market presence and grow more quickly.
The success of the SaaS Central programme and the partnership with several Indian SaaS startups delighted Amit Somani, Managing Partner at Prime Venture Partners. The programme has curated a small cohort of startups over the years, providing them with valuable insights and knowledge shared by seasoned entrepreneurs and Prime experts.
The intensive three-day programme covered a wide range of critical topics, including customer discovery, global go-to-market (GTM) strategies, product development, pricing strategies, and organisational development. The program's collaboration with AWS, which leveraged their global GTM access and deep technology expertise, made it especially beneficial for early-stage SaaS companies.
