
Bikanervala Teams Up With The Montana Group to Expand Footprint in UK

Indian snack and restaurant chain, Bikanervala is preparing to expand its footprint in the UK by teaming up with The Montana Group, a leader in retail and hospitality, according to reports.
This moves follows the opening of its new location in Sri Ganganagar, which marks a return to the brand's origins in Rajasthan.
The Sri Ganganagar outlet is believed to not only strengthens Bikanervala's footprint in North India but is also said to represent its goal of introducing India's culinary heritage to customers around the world, according to the company.
The new outlet appears to feature a quick-service restaurant (QSR) concept, providing a diverse selection of Indian sweets, snacks, and multi-cuisine dishes within a modern environment.
"Our goal is to make Indian flavours a staple on the global culinary scene, blending tradition with innovation through our 'Reverse Food Drainage' initiative," Manoj Madhukar, Founder of The Montana Group, said.
"By fostering collaborations and exploring new markets, we aim to leverage the global fascination with Indian cuisine as a medium for cultural exchange," he added.
Monty Singh, Co-Founder of The Montana Group, said, "We want to engage global youth in a culinary journey that celebrates India's age-old traditions.
Similar to international brands like McDonald's and KFC have adapted to Indian tastes, the Co-Founder denoted that the brand hopes to introduce authentic Indian flavours to customers around the world.
The Montana Group intends to launch more than 25 new locations from 2025 to 2026, expanding its footprint both within India and internationally, particularly in northern India.
Founded in 1905, Bikanervala has over 225 locations in India and around the world, including the US, Canada, the UAE, Qatar, New Zealand, Singapore, and Nepal.
