Bisleri International Teams Up with Education Ministry for 'Workspace Beautification'

A stepA step towards the creation of a sustainable culture and reaching the principles of a circular economy was achieved when Bisleri International Pvt. Ltd partnered with the Ministry of Education, Government of India for Special Campaign 4.0-'Workspace Beautification Initiative', creating benches made from used plastics at Shastri Bhawan. The event presents a sort of collaboration between the government and corporate in taking responsible steps in the protection of nature while beautifying workspaces for everyone's comfort and benefit.

It was led by key figures like Sanjay Kumar, IAS, Secretary of the Department of School Education & Literacy, Angelo George, CEO of Bisleri International, and several Additional Secretaries and Joint Secretaries of the Department. He, at the same event, mentioned that: "This is a good step in the direction that will ensure we have more sustainable tomorrow and we try to imbibe this whole vision in our day-to-day activity. Ministry of Education has taken an effort in leading by example so that every educational institution is enabled to look at the issues of pollution and adoption towards the circular economy".

Angelo George further emphasized, "We feel honored to be part of the Ministry of Education on this ambitious endeavor. This project is in sync with the vision of Swachh Bharat by embedding environmental accountability in all aspects of our business and making it a long-lasting positive change. This initiative speaks for mutual commitment towards making a greener future for us as we transform workplaces into a haven, encouraging employees to make it a greener tomorrow for all of us".

There were plastic benches and tables made of recycled plastic material and banks for collecting plastic as well to encourage proper collection. The benches were from the recycled material, painted, and designed by the artists of Mouth and Foot Painting Artists (MFPA), which celebrates creativity and equality. Their artworks have been put up in corridors of Shastri Bhawan, adding more depth to the aesthetic and cultural atmosphere of the environment.
