As per reports, Boeing has appointed Stacie Sire as vice president and managing director of Boeing India Engineering & Technology Center (BIETC) and chief engineer of Boeing India. Sire succeeds Ahmed Elsherbini, who led this position from April 2021 to January 2025.

Located in Bengaluru, Stacie has assumed responsibility for strategy and operations at BIETC, where she will focus on promoting BIETC's objectives and priorities in India, while strengthening team skills to further facilitate business growth. She likewise holds the position of chief engineer at Boeing India.

Stacie started her career at Boeing as a structural engineer and subsequently advanced to a first-level manager in loads and dynamics, aiding 787 and product development. As a senior manager, she directed systems stress and aircraft-level integration teams that supported all 787 variants.

She later held roles as director and chief engineer for the 767/777 airframe, 787 airframe, propulsion structures/systems/production engineering, and airplane-level engineering integration.

In her role as a senior director, she oversaw structures engineering for Boeing's commercial aircraft and, more recently, acted as the senior director of engineering for fabrication, managing a worldwide team that supported 20 distinct manufacturing business units.

Stacie  says, “Boeing’s growth in India as an industry leader and innovator in aerospace and defence is inspiring, and I am committed to working alongside our team here to continue advancing that journey.”
