Byju's Elevates Arjun Mohan as CEO for International Business

In accordance with sources, Byju's has appointed Grad's former CEO Arjun Mohan as its CEO for international business. According to media reports, Byju Raveendran will remain the group CEO, and Mrinal Mohit will continue to lead the India business.

Mohan was the Chief Business Officer at Byju's for 11 years before joining Ronnie Screwvala's upGrad as its India CEO.

He left upGrad in December of last year. According to the company's website, Byju's operates in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, the United Kingdom, Brazil, and the Middle East, with users in over 100 countries.

It owns the US-based reading platform Epic as well as the coding website Tynker, which it purchased for USD 500 million and USD 200 million, respectively. Byju's other overseas acquisitions include Singapore-based Great Learning for approximately USD 600 million and Austria's mathematics operator GeoGebra for approximately USD 100 million.

During a shareholder call, Raveendran acknowledged the board members' resignations but stated that the company has not yet accepted them and that information about their resignations was leaked prematurely.
