CCI Names Three Key Executives to Oversee Disputes
According to sources with direct knowledge, India's antitrust body has appointed three new members to oversee cases, including a former government official from the commerce ministry and a former interim compliance officer of WhatsApp.
Anil Agrawal, a former police official who recently worked at India's commerce ministry and on various startup initiatives, is one of the new members. He confirmed the appointment to Reuters but declined to provide further details.
Sweta Kakkad, a lawyer with a LinkedIn profile that shows she was a former interim chief compliance officer at WhatsApp, is one of two other appointments. Deepak Anurag, a former official with India's Comptroller and Auditor General, is the third appointee.
