DellDell Technologies and Nokia have announced the expansion of their strategic partnership, leveraging their expertise and leading solutions to advance open network models in the telecom ecosystem and support private 5G use cases among enterprises.

As part of the collaboration, Nokia has chosen Dell as its preferred infrastructure partner for existing Nokia AirFrame customers. This entails offering Dell's technology as the infrastructure of choice for telecom cloud deployments. The transition will gradually move existing AirFrame customers to Dell's extensive infrastructure portfolio, featuring Dell PowerEdge servers specifically designed for modern telecom network workloads across core, edge, and RAN.

Additionally, Nokia Digital Automation Cloud (NDAC) will become Dell's preferred confidential remote platform for enterprise clients' edge use cases. The collaboration aims to integrate Nokia's NDAC solution with Dell NativeEdge, the edge operations software platform, providing a comprehensive and scalable solution for enterprises.

Dennis Hoffman, Senior Vice President and General Manager of telecom Systems Business at Dell Technologies, emphasized, "Through our collaboration, Nokia and Dell Technologies will harness each company's expertise and expanded distribution to simply and quickly scale modern telecom networks and private 5G use cases. With our decades of digital transformation experience, we're ready to work together with Nokia's customers to continue their network cloud transformation journey on the industry's top-selling compute platform".
