DeltaDelta, a leading global provider of power management and IoT-based green solutions, has launched its new India Headquarters and Global Research & Development (R&D) Centre in Bengaluru. The expansive facility, located in Bommasandra Industrial Area, covers 61,000 square meters and can host up to 3,000 management, engineering, and R&D professionals. This new development underscores Delta's commitment to expanding its operations in the Indian market.

Over the next three years, the company plans to hire up to 750 R&D engineers to bolster its expertise in creating energy-efficient, high-voltage power management solutions for sectors like telecommunications, data centers, electric vehicle (EV) charging, energy storage, and software solutions for IoT and AI. This recruitment drive will enhance Delta's ability to meet increasing demand both in India and globally for smart energy solutions.

Commenting on the launch, Niranjan Nayak, Managing Director of Delta Electronics India, stated, "This R&D centre showcases our forward-looking vision. It's designed to be an innovation hub, focusing on the latest in power electronics while staying committed to sustainability. We believe this facility will play a critical role in our growth strategy by allowing us to better serve our customers' evolving needs".

Established in 1971 and listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange, Delta is renowned for its expertise in switching power supplies and thermal management solutions. In India, Delta operates four manufacturing units located in Rudrapur, Gurgaon, and Krishnagiri, along with two R&D centres in Gurgaon and Bengaluru. The company also operates 14 regional offices across India, reinforcing its robust presence in the country.

The Bengaluru HQ includes a cutting-edge 480sqm showroom that highlights Delta’s latest IoT-based green solutions. A 593kW solar PV system powers the building, generating over 650,000 kWh of energy annually with the support of Delta’s 100kW PV inverters, which boast energy efficiency levels of up to 99%. The facility also houses a 300kW data center with a low power usage effectiveness (PUE) of 1.4, achieved through Delta’s efficient UPS systems and precision cooling technologies.

Benjamin Lin, President of Delta Electronics India, added, "This new HQ and R&D centre strengthens both our capabilities in India and our global presence. This investment demonstrates our belief in India's growing tech sector and aligns with our 'India for India' initiative, promoting local innovation to serve global markets".
